Drasco Engineering, based in Rosenheim, Germany, builds systems for generating cryogenic compressed air. This is used for precise temperature control in microchip quality tests or for fast and precisely defined freezing of biotechnical products. In contrast to direct cooling with liquid nitrogen (LN2), LN2 compressed air heat exchangers are precisely controllable in flow and temperature, compensate for all fluctuations in the LN2 supply and allow higher gas volume flows through confined supply lines. Through our innovative approaches and use of "disruptive technologies" such as metal 3D printing, our systems are unmatched in power density, efficiency & cooling speed.
